Getting Ready at Maison de Tours

Brie and her bridesmaids got ready upstairs in the Maison de Tours bridal suite, a charming space filled with natural light and historic charm. A beautiful and emotional moment from the morning was when Sean’s mother helped Brie button her dress—a touching show of love and support. Brie wore a modern, strapless gown with subtle beading at the top, keeping her bridal look sleek and modern.

Meanwhile, Sean got ready just down the street at a home in Saint Martinville. His godmother helped him get dressed, making for another sentimental start to the day. Dressed in a classic black suit, Sean looked sharp and ready to see his bride.

Before the ceremony, Brie and Sean shared a private first look under the oak trees. Their first look was full of smiles and happy tears, setting the tone for their relaxed and joyful wedding day.

An Intimate Outdoor Ceremony at Maison de Tours

The couple exchanged vows in the courtyard of Maison de Tours, with the church peeking out from behind the brick wall behind them, adding to the old-world charm of their setting.

One of the most touching details of the ceremony was the reserved chair for Brie’s late mother, placed front and center in her honor. This beautiful tribute made it clear that she was right there with them in spirit, celebrating alongside them.

As the sun cast a golden glow over the courtyard, Brie and Sean said their vows, surrounded by their closest friends and family. Their ceremony was simple, heartfelt, and filled with love—just as they had envisioned.

A Lively Indoor-Outdoor Reception

Brie and Sean’s Maison de Tours wedding reception seamlessly blended indoor elegance with outdoor celebration. The bar and seating were set up inside, allowing guests to mingle, while the dance floor was outside beneath the stars. This mix of spaces gave their reception an effortless flow, keeping the energy light and joyful all night long.

Reception Highlights:

✔ Catering by Stacy’s – A delicious Louisiana-inspired menu
✔ Acadiana DJ Service – Keeping the dance floor packed
Kathleen Short Cakes – A beautiful (and tasty!) wedding cake

As the night went on, guests enjoyed a late-night snack of mini hamburgers, the perfect treat to keep the party going. Brie and Sean even snuck away to the balcony at Maison de Tours for a few intimate portraits, capturing a quiet moment just for the two of them before heading back to the celebration.

A Stress-Free and Joyful Wedding Day

One of the best parts of Brie and Sean’s Maison de Tours wedding was how relaxed and happy the entire day felt. They fully trusted their vendors, allowing them to focus on simply enjoying each other and celebrating with their guests.

As a photographer, I always love when couples embrace the moment, and Brie and Sean did just that. Their wedding day was full of genuine laughter, candid moments, and effortless elegance. It was truly one of the most joy-filled and stress-free weddings I’ve had the honor of capturing.
